I have an interesting relationship with the NU project.  On one hand, I really love doing the work and I love peoples’ reaction to it and the amount of people around the world that email me.  On the other hand, it’s really hard to devote too many resources or too much time to it because of the simple fact that it makes me no money whatsoever.  I think that’s why I love it too, though, because it doesn’t pay.  As soon as the senior rush / wedding rush / move is over I think I’m going to get back to shooting it.

This is the busiest time of year for me BY FAR.  So I’ve been posting less.  Sorry.

However, I did run into an interesting situation not 5 minutes ago.  I was going to make myself a frozen burrito and the directions said “preheat over to 350 and bake for 50-55 minutes.”  When on earth would a person invest 55 minutes into a frozen burrito.  Never, that’s when.

So, I popped it into the microwave for 2 minutes and guess what.  It’s done.  The frozen burrito people are morons.

I took the image below of Nate (a Jill off to the right) with my first camera ever.  We were in college, and this particular shot came from a day when we all drank a case of beer in one day.  The day was called case day.  I’m guessing Peter will probably repeat that today.  Perhaps he has already, it is after 1pm after all.  Off to the party, more later.

Not of the blog, but of the Kess and I.  We are celebrating our 9th dating anniversary in fact which is pretty exciting.  I’d write more but we’re about to head out to the 112 Eatery for dinner.  It’s amazing and should be enjoyed if you’re ever in Minneapolis.

Here we are in NY a month ago.  We’ve never had actual pictures taken of us, so handheld on an airplane will have to do.

So I suffer from the same disease that all people who maintain websites suffer from: the fail-to-update disease. I start a site, work on it for a while, and then it becomes way too much effort to maintain it. This is where the blog interface steps in…

I’m in the process of converting the NU project to a blog site with an image gallery which I’m hoping will go a long way to making it easier to update so that there’s something new to view every week (I know this works because ya’ll keep coming back). It’s going to look a lot like this blog, and my wedding and portrait blog, but a different header and different menu items and people without clothes.
